Being a member of Tullamore Credit Union has many benefits – but if you are a Junior Member, then you are extra special – we had our Junior Members’ Day in the Tullamore SportsLink on Saturday 27th July from 11am to 2pm
While the weather wasn’t kind to us for some parts of the day, that did not deter our Junior Members from participating and enjoying all the activities including face-painting, bungee jumping, obstacle course, sweet shop and of course ice-cream – which tasted even better as it came from the only battery operated and solar powered ice-cream van in Ireland!
Junior Members were invited to enter a talent competition and there were prizes on the day for the best in the Under 8 & Over 8 years categories.
We had a few special guests on the day as well, including Dame Dolly & Maleficent from the Tullamore Panto group. We are excited to announce that Tullamore Credit Union are once again sponsoring this year’s panto which is Sleeping Beauty, more details to follow later in the year. We also had Mark Troy, who is the goalie on the Offaly Senior Hurling Team, who took many a penalty shot from our Junior Members – and some even managed to get the sliotar past him!
