As a responsible financial service provider, we are always wanting to keep our members up-to-date on good security practices and often provide advice on being aware of potential fraud and have provided tips on where to get more information about security.
‘Don’t click on a link’ is probably the most common piece of advice given! And as a credit union, we must follow our own advice – and would like to remind members that when you are sending us in loan documentation, proof of id, confirmation of your address or a competition form, such as Community Support Fund, Pride in your Place etc., we will not open links either.
So please remember to attach the relevant documentation, as an attachment to your email – do not include a link in your email as we will simply not open it!
